八女星野村の耳納山麓で栽培されたお茶です。
【やぶきた】という全国で最も栽培面積のある品種です。八女では珍しく完全露地(覆いをしていない)の煎茶です。
香ばしい火香があるのでガツンとした力強さがありますが、キレがよくさっぱりとした甘い印象が口内に残ります。
子供の頃、祖父母の家や親戚の家に遊びに行った時のような、郷愁を感じられるお茶です。

This tea is grown at the foot of Mount Minao in Yame Hoshino Village.
