【Tsumugi : Gyokuro】
This high-grade tea is grown and produced using a traditional farming method known as Yame traditional hongyokuro.
The tea is hand-picked in the mountainous area of Yame, where it has won the Gyokuro Production Area Prize at the National Tea Fair, and is covered with straw and other natural materials.
The tea has a profound flavour, dark green colour and bright, vivid colour.
It is blended with a variety of high-quality finished varieties, mainly from Hoshino Village.
The flavour is virtuously rich and clear, reminiscent of soup stock.
When the tea leaves are placed on ice and slowly brewed with only their melted water, a supreme drop of tea is produced.
It is a taste that overturns the concept of tea.
